We all know Instagram occupies a space a little to the left of reality but damn are followers miffed at this influencer.

Johanna Olsson, a Sweden-born, London-based Instagram influencer is copping serious flack after posting a number of paid posts from a supposed trip to Paris.

But before we get into it, can you spot what has followers rilled up?

Yup! That’s one helluva dodge Photoshop job.

And it’s just one of many. Images (some of which now have comments turned off) show the 28-year-old’s feet levitating, backgrounds that appear to be copy/pasted and a halo of light around her hair.

Social media users were quick to call her out on using image software to place herself in the scenes with many accusing her of being “fake” of not even going to Paris.

“Wow Imagine completely altering your pics with photoshop for validation,” wrote one user.

Addressing the controversy over Instagram Story, the influencer explained:

“I wanted to talk a little bit about the pictures I posted in Paris. So I did one picture, shot it and didn’t think it looked that nice… so I took a different background and put the background into it.”

“So I admit it wasn’t my finest Photoshop skills. Now in Sweden this thing has gone crazy and TV shows want me to come on and talk about my ‘fake travelling’,” she added.

“It’s a bit ridiculous I think. There are a lot of influencers out there that Photoshop in birds, rainbows or crazy skies and I could do that but I don’t like that.

I just wanted to make that clear that I was in Paris, but I did Photoshop the background, but I’m not going to take them down because it’s a collaboration.”

And this latest round of fakery isn’t even the first for Johanna.

“When I was in Venice I took a pasta picture but I didn’t eat the pasta because I’m gluten intolerant,” she explained in her Instagram Story.

“So I gave the pasta to a homeless person. I could have just pretended that I ate it but I thought it was funny so I put it in my caption.”
